LEGO fans descended on LEGOLAND Florida in a furious rush to get their hands at some of the sought-after toys of the year. In bright, vibrant colors, families posed with gigantic sculptures of Albert Einstein as well other famous figures such as dinosaurs and Darth Vader while southern belles looked on from afar , smiling because they didn’t need them anymore because of an awesome promo campaign by our friends at LEGOLAND Florida who were able to make it happen once time.
Here are the reasons you should consider visiting LEGOLAND Florida:
1. Interactive Attractions for Children
The interactive park has a lot to offer. Children can drive mini cars through two-lane streets that include a roundabout and stop signs at Ford Driving School; they build their own LEGO vehicles in the Imagination Zone or even program robots that are computer controlled using Mindstorms kits! This is more than just having fun. There are many activities that will get you out of those tu quoque wheels for one reason or another (whether it’s due to your child’s need for more exercise than what he/she receives every day, or because a friend has been busy when they have free time).
Little ones will enjoy playing in the DUPLO Village or the barn, the older kids can have fun at Forestman’s Hideout and Pharaoh’s Revolt. The Land Of Adventure has an interactive section that features laser guns that are able to be used to create your own adventures.
2. Roller Coasters
Coasters aren’t just for thrill-seekers. LEGOLAND Florida has a wide selection of roller coasters which will keep you busy and your heart racing. The California sister park features four additional attractions compared to the one at LEGOLAND FL. This may disappoint some riders but there will still be ample opportunity in this destination in which families and adults alike could enjoy themselves in a myriad of rides like the wooden dinosaur-themed Coasteraurus or suspended steel Flight School which offers something that is a bit different in its airborne experience.
3. Cypress Gardens
The most beautiful and unique natural beauty can be found within the Cypress Gardens. The park was created in 1933. It is famous for its gigantic Banyan Tree which stands among other trees that are majestic.
4. Water Ski Show
Brickbeard’s Bounty Battle is a thrilling show that will make you gasp and cheer. Miss Miranda and her Imperial soldiers defeat Captain Brickerhead’s pirates in a series of water-ski jumps, tricks and more. The first five rows get splashed so guard your phones or cameras from getting wet if they’re not waterproof already because the event isn’t over.
5. LEGO Brick Creations
Miniland is the primary attraction at any LEGO park. The Florida site is the sole place that brings to life famous structures and landmarks from all over the world. There are amazing representations of Miami Beach and Kennedy Space Station along with other nearby locations like Daytona International Speedway and Key West. This is why it’s worth visiting, even if you’re not playing all day long.
